Trinity is a doctrine that is quite
unique within the Christian faith. No religion is quite risky enough to portray
its divine as “one god existing in multiple (in the case of Christianity,
three) persons”. Yet, I think this alone can be an argument to believe the doctrine
of the Trinity. No human mind can ever think of God as triune. The mind has no
capacity to imagine such being because this characteristic has no reference to
any human reality. In order for a human mind to know such being, it must be
revealed from her. The Trinity is, therefore, a revelation of God and not just a
doctrine made up by the human mind. So the incomprehensibleness of this
doctrine is not a disadvantage but an advantage.
